NEW MOMENTUM IN THE FAIRY HAND – TEAM BUILDING, EXPANSION PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

THE FAIRY HAND INITIATIVE IS CONTINUOUSLY DEVELOPING AND GROWING – ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS ARE FORMING THE JOYFUL HELPING COMMUNITY INTO A LARGER FAMILY. IN JULY, WE ARE PREPARING FOR A SPECIAL EVENT: THE FIRST TEAM BUILDING AND TRAINING EVENT, WHERE WE CAN EXPAND WITH NEW MEMBERS.

About the team builder:

The July team building event is not only about getting to know each other, but also about learning. This event is for those who want to actively participate in supporting children and get a solid foundation for helping work. During the program, you can learn about the goals of TündérKéz, the daily activities, and the role of volunteers.

New directions – we also work with the elderly:

We want to push the boundaries of volunteering, so we will soon be launching programs for the elderly. This way we can bring joy and support to even more people's lives.

There are currently two organizer positions available to help organize and coordinate events and programs. If you have organizational experience or would like to take on responsibility, here is your opportunity!

DEAR FRIENDS!

We are pleased to announce that the Fairy Hand Initiative has been enriched with a new image element: our logo has been renewed! This change is not only a new image, but also another step on the path towards our common goals.

In recent times, we have thought a lot about how we could better express the love, support and hope that we offer to children. The new logo reflects all of this: a cleaner, more modern appearance that radiates warmth and strength at the same time - just as we would like to be present in hospitals.

The symbol of Fairy Hand remains the helping hand that gently touches children, giving them hope and security. And the fresh colors and shapes carry the joy of life and faith with which we all work.

Thank you to everyone who supports us on this journey and who will continue to join us in the future, so that together we can create a better, happier world for children in recovery!

OUR STORY – WHY THE FAIRY HAND LEFT

There are moments in life that change everything. The two of us – two young, wholehearted volunteers – decided to start the Fairy Hand initiative after such a moment.

In the beginning, we helped at the Lurkó Foundation, where we worked with children in the hospital’s pediatric ward. Their smiles, their hugs, their laughter became the greatest gift we could receive. We were not doctors or therapists – we were simply there. We played, we told stories, we listened. We were present as people.

Then a break came. It felt as if they wanted to exclude us from our own place. They removed us. Not because we had done anything wrong – quite the opposite. Maybe we had given too much, maybe the values we represented did not fit into their ideas.

But we did not break. Because when you enter the hospital, not as a patient, but with the intention of making others feel better, something changes inside you. The stomach cramps we felt as children within the hospital walls simply disappeared. Because we were no longer the patients. We became the ones who brought hope.

That is why Tündérkéz was created. Because we believe that a caress, a smile, a moment can be enough to make a child’s day more beautiful. So that they can heal not only physically, but also mentally.

We are just an initiative now, but our goals are big. We start from Mosonmagyaróvár to reach more and more children. And we believe that the love we give finds its way back to us – and maybe to you too.
